Our new home has hardwood throughout the main level. I'm starting to look for rug options for our living room (measuring 16'x20'). Of course, I'm shocked at the cost of large rugs (and anxious about buying a pattern/design that I tire of after while) and I am wondering if a carpet remnant might be an alternative (and possibly softer?) way to go?
